Back in 2003, as a commercial dishwasher salesman I was in Tampa. When I got very frustrated with a particular machine, I walked away to cool off and said to myself, "there has got to be something better than this to make a living." I asked the manager on duty if their menu was on the Internet, he said "nope."

I had some experience with making websites so I decided to create a website for him. Later that night, I started to come up with names where I could put more than one menu on a website directory. I came up with the name "Tampa Menus on Disk". My original thought was to put all of these menus on a disk and sell the disk, but that became too expensive and improbable. So I continued to check for better names, I (not my wife) came up with the name "Menus of America". It was available so I bought it.

I began to get very excited and started asking all of my restaurants if they wanted their menu on my website. Every one of them said yes. I have been trying different business plans to make this successful since then. Then in 2005, Menus of the World became available so I bought it as well. I am open to anyone who has ideas or an interest to help make this project successful.
